Sage made a birthday limmerick

There once was a boy named Sage
Who liked to stand on a stage
He sang many a song
Til his voice was all gone.
Now he writes all the songs on a page.

There once was a sister named Celeste
Who turned out to be the best
Her brother named Sage
Sang a song from a page
And put her to sleep in her nest.

There once was a woman named Katie
She turned out to be quite a lady.
Her first baby boy was born on a stage
Where she quickly named him Sage
And taught him not to be afraidy.

There once was a man named Jeremy
Who asked Katie, "Will you marry me?"
Together they birthed a son named Sage.
They kept him in their very fine cage
Until the dear boys said, "Carry me."

Industrious Boy

Corbin decided he'd change Celie for me one day. It was interesting. He got the diaper off but couldn't get her to lay still so he could snap up the dry one! Funny for me, frustrating for 2 babies!

Looks can be deceiving

Aren't these too adorable? You'd never know that they were fighting like cats & dogs just moments before I took these pictures!

Sage is 9!

Isn't he getting handsome! I can't believe he's 9! He is only 12 inches from my height and he has calculated he'll pass me when he's 12 & I think he could be right! He loves all things imaginative & right now his focus is on a tv character named Ben 10. Ben is a 10yr old boy who's life is changed forever when he comes in contact with a watch looking thing that changes him into 10 different aliens with various strengths & weaknesses. We've been spending all our allowances on action figures, books, videos, coloring books, etc. Plus, all computer time is spent watching episodes & developing games with Ben in them. He is somewhat obssessive about things which will someday translate into great passions in his adult life. I pray that a very personal relationship with his Savior is one of those adult passions. If he continues on this way, there will be no stopping him in whatever he pursues!
